🧁 Bakes
How long do your bakes stay fresh?
Our brownies, blondies, cookie pies and most traybakes are best enjoyed within 5–7 days when stored in an airtight container at room temperature.
Can I freeze my bakes?
Yes! Most of our bakes can be frozen for up to 3 months. Wrap them well or keep them in an airtight container. Defrost at room temperature before enjoying.
Are your bakes made fresh?
Yes! Every bake is handmade in small batches and baked fresh to order to ensure the best quality.
Do your bakes contain allergens?
Yes. Our products may contain or come into contact with milk, eggs, wheat (gluten), soya, peanuts, tree nuts and other allergens. Please check each product’s allergen information before ordering.
Do you offer gluten-free or vegan options?
We’re always looking to expand our range, but we can’t currently guarantee products are suitable for special dietary requirements due to the risk of cross-contamination.
How should I store my bakes?
Store them in an airtight container in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Refrigeration isn’t usually necessary unless stated on the product.

Can I choose my own sweets?
Yes! Our Build Your Own Pick ‘n’ Mix lets you create your perfect selection from our available range.
Are your sweets vegetarian or vegan?
Some are, and some aren’t. Please check the individual product descriptions for ingredient and allergen information.
How fresh are your sweets?
We regularly replenish our stock to ensure your sweets are fresh and delicious.
Can I request sweets that aren’t listed?
We’re always happy to hear suggestions! If there’s a sweet you’d love us to stock, please get in touch.
🎁 Orders & Delivery
How long will my order take?
As many of our products are freshly prepared, please allow the processing time shown at checkout before dispatch.
Which courier do you use?
We use trusted UK delivery services, and tracking details will be sent once your order has been dispatched.
Can I send an order as a gift?
Absolutely! You can send your order directly to the recipient. We don’t include pricing information inside our parcels.
Do you offer local collection?
Yes! Local collection will be available from our Cake Shed once it opens. Collection instructions will be provided when available.
Can I change or cancel my order?
If your order hasn’t entered production or been dispatched, we’ll do our best to help. Please contact us as soon as possible.

Our Cake Shed is a self-service honesty shop where local customers can purchase freshly baked treats directly from us.

Our Cake Shed is located in East Yorkshire. Full collection details and opening information will be available on our website and social media.

We’ll stock a changing selection of brownies, blondies, cookie pies, traybakes and seasonal specials. We also hope to offer selected pick ‘n’ mix products.
How do I know what’s in stock?
We’ll post regular stock updates on our social media and keep our website updated whenever possible.
What payment methods do you accept?
The Cake Shed will accept cashless payment methods, making it quick and easy to purchase your treats.

Opening hours may vary depending on stock levels, weather and holidays. Please check our website or social media for the latest updates.
